Providing your personal data indicated in the application form available on the website www.wnjs.pl is voluntary, but necessary to participate in the project “Wrocław na językach świata”.
The data provided by you will be processed by us solely and exclusively for the purpose of implementing the project “Wrocław na językach świata”, pursuant to art. 6 clause 1 lit. b) and c) of the GDPR (and if you consent to the processing of data – Article 6 (1) (a) of the GDPR), which includes in particular:
- providing the student’s contact details to the volunteer and the volunteer’s contact details to the student (such as name, surname, phone number, e-mail address messenger ID, IP number of your device),
- contact you on our contact details provided in order to obtain from you information on the functioning of a given language tandem and other issues related to your participation in the project “Wrocław na językach świata” (including participation in free trainings for volunteers).
The personal data provided by you will be processed by us until you inform us about resignation from participation in the “Wrocław na językach świata” project or 12 months of inactivity within the project and for a further period, if this is due to legal provisions.
If you want to resign from participation in the project (and thus delete your data – name, surname, phone number, email) please fill out the RESIGNATION FORM.
If a different purpose or basis for the processing of personal data arises, you will be notified separately.
Due to the fact that as part of the application for participation in the project “Wrocław na językach świata” you have provided your personal data, in the cases indicated in the GDPR you have the right to:
- access to the content of these data and rectification, deletion or limitation of processing, the right to object, request to cease processing and transfer data, if the basis for data processing is your consent – the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing (by contacting with us on the above contact details), which was made on the basis of consent before its withdrawal,
- lodging a complaint to the supervisory body, i.e. the Chairman of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych).
The anticipated categories of recipients of your data are: participants of the “Wrocław na językach świata” project, institutions authorized in accordance with the law and third parties providing services to us, in particular providing us with technical and organizational solutions, such as providers of ICT services.
Your personal data will not be processed automatically or be profiled.
