Easter Holidays

Dear Sirs,

The new edition of the campaign – update of the meeting locations

Dear Students, Volunteers and Partners – we would like to inform you that we have updated the list of the meeting locations in our application form and on the map of available locations.

Currently, we are verifying availability of the locations from the previous edition, along with the possible meeting times. Therefore, we will be successively updating our list with new locations.

We invite you to continue your participation in our campaign.  If you are not sure whether you should take part in our campaign or not, please contact us – we can provide you with all the necessary information concerning the campaign.

Follow-up meetings of the 1st edition of the “Wrocław na językach świata” campaign

To whom it may concern,

we would like to cordially invite you to take part in a meeting, so as to thank you for your commitment concerning this marvellous campaign. Below, you can find the schedule of our meetings. The first meeting (8/12/2016) and the second one (13/12/2016) are primarily for our Students/Foreigners and Volunteers/Teachers. The third meeting (19/12/2016) is organized for our Animators and Partners, who hosted the Volunteers and the Students  in particular localizations. We would like to thank to all the Students and Volunteers for sending their applications for participation in the “Wrocław Na Językach Świata” campaign. Meeting for Volunteers and Beneficiaries of free Polish classes

We would like to remind you, that 2016-09-23 the meeting for Volunteers and Beneficiaries of free Polish classes will be held, as planned previously. The meeting will include discussion about current organizational issues and a mini-training for Volunteers about using Polish teaching materials. We would like to invite all the people interested in the aforementioned subjects, especially those, who have no experience in teaching or giving classes.

We are starting!

Today (2016-09-19), we have launched the “Wrocław Na Językach Świata” campaign. We would like to thank all the Students and Volunteers for sending their applications! Till the day of September the 18th,  we have received 200 applications from Students, 111 applications from Volunteers and 51 applications from Partners. Thank you! MEETING I – Training for volunteers and beneficiaries of free Polish classes

We invite you to participate in a training for volunteers and beneficiaries of free Polish classes.

  1. Stereotypes – Prejudices – Discrimination – 2 hour-long training sensitizing to discrimination, showing the discrimination mechanism and ways of counteracting it. It’s an important subject in the context of awareness of teacher’s attitude towards a student.
  2. Programs and projects of the Municipality of Wrocław about openness and counteracting xenophobia (lecture)

We look for Animators to work with during the “Wrocław Na Językach Świata” campaign

This fall, Wrocławskie Centrum Integracji is launching the „Wrocław Na Językach Świata” campaign.

The campaign aims to:

  • support foreigners living in Wrocław in Polish language learning;
  • improve language skills of foreigners to enable them to benefit from the city’s offer (culture, jobs, etc.);
  • get the Wrocław inhabitants involved in the process of integration of foreigners living in Wrocław.

We look for Animators ready to undertake the following activities on the basis of civil contract:

  • acquisition of institutional Partners (non-governmental organizations, municipal entities, companies, Third Age Universities, community clubs, etc.);
  • maintenance of contacts with acquired Partners;
  • coordination of activities of assigned Partners group, Volunteers and Beneficiaries of project.

We look for Volunteers to work with during the “Wrocław Na Językach Świata” campaign

The Municipality of Wrocław prepares to implement the “Wrocław Na Językach Świata” campaign, starting this fall.

The campaign aims to:

  • support foreigners living in Wrocław in Polish language learning;
  • improve language skills of foreigners to enable them to benefit from the city’s offer (culture, jobs, etc.);
  • get the Wrocław inhabitants involved in the process of integration of foreigners living in Wrocław.

Due to the ongoing preparations for the campaign, we look for Volunteers that would like to get involved in performing our activities through:

Module I: office and administrative jobs

  • collaboration during preparation of educational materials;
  • distribution of educational materials;
  • help in preparation of presentations;
  • support for animators;
  • co-organization of meetings and trainings for Partners.

Module II: campaign promotion

  • maintaining the contact with the media;
  • acquiring media sponsors;
  • promotion of events in social media;
  • taking and uploading photos.

Module III: translations

  • collaboration during preparation of educational materials;
  • translation of the website;
  • translation of posts for internet communication platform.

Benefits for a Volunteer

  • participation in numerous trainings;

  • chance to get a certificate for voluntary service;
